Carmen in white, red, and blue (p1000613a)

I took these photos near the Church of Santa Maria della Salute at the Carnevale in Venice in February 2010. One of the Flickr photographers told me the costumed characters meet there at certain days and times. The first day was extremely windy – most of the characters had to hang on to their tops or else they would be blown off. The second day was much better. It was a great experience!
